Nails, Inc. Noho

Hello, you 21 beautiful people!  First of all, thank you all so much for your interest in my blog!  It's such a good feeling to see you all dropping by!  And if you haven't been on my blog before, HELLO to you too & thanks so much for reading! :D

As you know I have been quite a busy lady over the last few days!  I have gotten a lot of cleaning done, some quality family time with C, and OMG the naiiiiiil polllliiiiish!  <3

Let's start at the beginning, shall we?  I have been in Sephora a hundred times but I have never bought anything in the store - though the Ciaté polishes reallllllly catch my eye every time!  When some of you ladies started posting that Illamasqua was having a sale on some of their shades I couldn't resist using a JCPenney gift card I received to pick up Fragile & Scarab (which I can't wait to swatch)!  I also was pleasantly surprised to find Nails, Inc. Leather Effects right next to the Illamasqua Speckleds!  Naturally I couldn't leave without grabbing Noho because it has been on my list since the moment it was released!  So today I put this baby on and I want to share it with you!
I couldn't believe how easy it was to use this textured polish.  It's the second one I have tried (the first being one of the OPI Liquid Sand colors) and I found it to be absolute perfection.  It went on sort of like a creme, only it reminded me of thin paint.  It dried relatively quickly and I barely had any imperfections to clean up around the edges of my cuticles.  This is two coats; I wouldn't recommend just leaving it at one because it doesn't look absolutely black without the second coat and because the effect is much more apparent when you use two.  I gotta tell you, when I used the OPI Liquid Sand I could not get a good pic of it for the life of me.  I honestly thought it looked like tar and kudos to the ladies who have gotten good pics of them.  This, however, I think turned out pretty gorgeous in the pics.  I also can't stop touching it!  It's just so much fun!  I did not use a base coat or a top coat for this mani and I hope it lasts a good long time!

I thought it was pretty cool that I swatched this baby today because I got my email alert from The Polishaholic showing off her nails with Nails, Inc. Soho Mews!  If you're not familiar with this shade it's the tan leather effect.  There is also a red, which I believe she picked up as well.  Ugh, she has me wishing I had splurged for all three - or at least for Soho Mews!!!!

Now, on to some more fun stuff!  But I must warn you, I got a little bit pic happy (and they aren't so great because it's pretty late in Texas and kinda dark in the house)!  Ladies and gentlemen, here are the three packages that awaited me in my stuffed-full mailbox!  There is nothing that makes you feel like a nail blogger than receiving a bunch of nail mail all at once!  What a wonderful week it has been for my collection!!!!! <3
Firstly, in case you don't follow me on my At Peace with Polish Facebook, here is my pic of the Sephora haul:  SO BEAUTIFUL!!! (C already has asked to use Fragile!)

to Cult Nails because Maria incredibly, generously sent me all of these babies to show off!  I can't even believe it.  It's just such a huge act of kindness that she did not have to do and I feel like I just can't thank her enough for giving me such an amazing opportunity!  THANK YOU! :D

Next on the agenda, thank you to my husband and myself for savvy eBay shopping!  Here are the first six Color Club Halo Hues, CC's Wild at Heart (which I have wanted for-ev-er), and China Glaze's Champagne Kisses (another I have waited on for so long!)

Thanks for letting me ramble excitedly about my nail mail!  I can't wait to get all of these beauties up for your viewing pleasure! :D  Which one do you want to see first?  Take care until next time!
