May you live as long as you want,
and never want as long as you live.

Good evening, all!  "May you live as long as you want, and never want as long as you live."  I read online that this quote is an Irish blessing and I thought it was very nice!

What a long day.  C was really happy that I ate lunch with her today & we will definitely be doing that more often!  Then it turns out the appointment today was for an ultrasound so I got to see E, too!  YAY!
For this mani I used: Essie's Penny Talk, Pure Ice's Femme Fatale, Victoria's Secret's Supercharged, and Essie's Matte About You.  I also used Bundle Monster Plate BM16.

When I finally got home I threw my mani on pretty quickly to get some pics in the light.  Unfortunately it was almost dark when I finished my stamping so you'll have to forgive me my indoor pics.  Yep, that's right!  I said stamping!  My objective was to use the colors I used but I wasn't really sure where I was gonna go from there.  It's really kind of funny: about half-way through I looked at it and observed that it seems very St. Patrick's Day-ish!  Cool how things work out right?

Here is Pure Ice's Femme Fatale.
It's one of those fairly new suede colors they put out and it is my favorite of the three I picked up.
Speaking of things working out - it's pretty rare for my stamping adventures to be so successful.  I find that Essie's metallic colors are perfect for this.  As you can see I used a Bundle Monster stamping plate for my flowers (they kinda look like clovers, right!?).  The glitter you see there is a pretty Victoria's Secret color I got for Christmas!  I topped the whole mani with Essie's Matte About You to make sure it was all nice and uniform with the suede base.

What do you think!?  Should I throw a shiny coat of HK Girl on it tomorrow to see how this baby shines?  I'd love to hear some comments! :)  As usual, thank you all for stopping by.  I'm sorry today is so rushed, but I have to get the kiddo off to bed now.  Did you check out that awesome giveaway link I posted this morning?

  1. I love this! It's so pretty and cute!! I rather like how it looks matte. I definitely thought that the flowers were clovers! This would be a great St. Paddy's Day mani!
