The Devil Does Holo!

This polish was generously provided to me for review by Tami Willis, owner and creator of The Devil Wears Polish. The provided polish is graciously accepted and kept, and does not affect my opinions regarding the product.  This blog review post is my honest opinion for the owner's and any consumers' benefit.  Thank you, Tami, for the opportunity to review these awesome polishes!

Hi everyone!  I have a very pretty holo from The Devil Wears Polish's new collection The Lust-Rous Linears to show you!

Suck My Peach is a pastel peach linear holo that I think is a perfect demure shade that you can wear to work all day but has a lovely, light holo effect that takes you from work to the evening out!  This color was very easy to apply and was opaque in two coats.

I kinda wish the holo had been as pronounced on my nail as it was in the bottle, but I wasn't disappointed with the polish because it really is a beautiful color! The light sparkle in it made me feel girly and fun and I think the nearly nude shade of peach worked well for my skin tone. Suck My Peach was a big hit when I wore it around!

Look at the sparkle!!!

I truly cannot wait to own more lovely colors from The Devil Wears Polish because Tami really has an eye for unique color combinations and has done a spectacular job with the formula of her polishes!

Get Your Pop Rocks Off!

This polish was generously provided to me for review by Tami Willis, owner and creator of The Devil Wears Polish. Hi everyone! Happy Opening Day to my pal Tami whose shop you can find here: http://thedevilwearspolish.storenvy.com

Tami was so sweet to nominate me for a Leibster Award when I first began At Peace With Polish and has been a darling friend to me in the nail blogging community! I was thrilled to purchase one of her creations (which you can view in my previous post) and I was so touched when she included two incredible looking extra colors for me to review!

Get Your Pop Rocks Off is a gorgeous yellow crelly polish full of glitter. I think it's easily a companion polish to Girl Love to Blow... Bubbles but is different enough that you need both!!! I used yellow undies for this post but have worn this shade alone and it is buildable to your preference in two to three coats!

Prepare to feast your eyes on this glitter mix: large teal and pink holo circles, small blue, and lime green small circles, with neon pink and green micro glitter!!! I know it sounds like a lot but Tami has her formula mixed to perfection to disperse just the right amount for a funky, fresh look that is not overwhelming on your nails. I think any length and shape can sport this one!

Here is one coat over a pale yellow creme polish and topped with one coat of Glisten & Glow HK Girl:

And here is a lovely macro from Tami's new store envy shop!

Please go see all the new pretties you can purchase from The Devil Wears Polish! The store opened at 12:00 p.m. CST so it's going fast! ;)

Girls Love to Blow... Bubbles!

Have you seen this amazing new collection by the new Indie brand The Devil Wears Polish?!  They're wonderful and I am excited to say that I have one to show you today and two more coming up!  Tami Willis, the brilliant mind from The Devil Wears Polish, formerly known as Polished Dreams and Life Things, has started cranking out fantastically formulated lacquer with really fun names that you absolutely must have!

This polish called Girls Love to Blow... Bubbles was purchased by me.  It's a semi-sheer, baby pink creme base with hot neon pink micro glitter, small blue circles and squares, small and medium violet holo circles, and large turquoise holo circles... Then when I went outside I saw the bottle also contains very light pink matte hex glitter too!  Feelin' a little blue that I didn't get any of those in my mani, but hopefully next time.

My only other complaint is that my bottle of amazingness didn't come with a name label! Whoops!

Here are two thin coats of Girls Love to Blow... Bubbles with G&G HK Girl too coat.  The creme base is just what I wanted it to be!  I didn't want to keep layering because I love how delicate this polish looks.  Pretty soft pink!!!  The glitter was easy peasy to get out (except for those elusive hexies) once I shook up the bottle.

It's soooo pretty!!!! I just adore this one. I'm so glad I bought a full size!  Stay tuned for two more lovelies from Tami later this week!  She has a very cool new look.  Love the name, love the logo, and love the new collection! ;)

By the way: if you head on over to Tami's blog www.polisheddreamsandlifethings.blogspot.com she is having a Multi-blogger Giveaway!  Only two days left to enter.  Tell her hi from me!
