Striping Tape: Take One

Well I told you I was going to show you what I did with my gorgeous swatch of Cult Nails' Vicious and you knew I was going to try out my striping tape for the first time!

Here is what it looked like when I first applied the gold striping tape. Lovely, right!?

And here's what it looks like as of right before I started typing:

Ugh!  What did I do wrong?!  Someone help me out here!
In the meantime I am going to peel the tape off and just enjoy whatever I decide to do with my Vicious mani next because I will be at the zoo tomorrow with C all day!  You guys have a great night & I'll talk to you very soon!
